HANGING ROCK — With the weather warming, all-terrain vehicle enthusiasts are no doubt itching to get back in the seat and, in so doing, back on the ATV trail. At the end of the month, they get their chance.

The third annual Rock and Roll Rally, sponsored by the Hanging Rock ATV Club, will be Friday, May 29 to Sunday, May 31 in the village of Hanging Rock at U.S. 52 and State Route 650.

Club president Jerry Gammon said in addition to the more familiar events, participants will find new offerings this year.

“The corn hole tournament is new and the GPS scavenger hunt, we did last year but no one signed up. This year we have interest in it so it may be a hit,” Gammon said.

The slate of activities includes hoot owl ride 8-11 p.m. Friday, a poker run beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday. The ride will wind into the city of Ironton, move to the village and then to the Wayne National Forest. A second hoot owl ride is set for 8 p.m. Saturday. The GPS scavenger hunt will be all weekend. The corn hole tournament will be Sunday for riders and non-riders.
