SPRINGFIELD — Lauren Elizabeth Drummond, 5, of Springfield, died Monday, Aug.15, 2011, at Dayton Children’s Medical Center.

She was born March 13, 2006, in Columbus, beloved daughter of Jaye Matthew and Kelly Anne (Kazlo) Drummond, who survive her.

She was a former student at Nightingale Montessori School, Kindercare, Enon Montessori School, and former dance student at Ohio Performing Arts Institute.

She is also survived by her brother Matthew Tyler Drummond; maternal grandparents, Susan D. (Frieman) and John L. “Jack” Wimbley of Ladson, S. C.; Charles Patrick and Linda Kazlo of The Villages, Fla.; paternal grandparents, David E. and Susan G. (Jenkins) Drummond of Marysville; paternal great-grandparents, Carl S. “Tink” and Phyllis J. (Hinkle) Drummond of Willow Wood; aunts and uncles, Aimee S. (Drummond) and Daniel Patrick and their children Gaige, Nathan, and Kaitlyn, of Marysville; Kimberly (Kazlo) and Stephen Warne of Clifton Park, N. Y.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, Joshua Tyler Drummond. A gathering of family and friends will be 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday in the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home, where funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday.
