Overcoming a variety of challenges along the way, Sugar Creek Christian Academy has shown exactly what can be accomplished with vision and faith.

The small religious school, located on State Route 141, serves as a perfect example of what can be achieved through partnerships, hard work and commitment.

Six years ago the small Christian school was basically just an offshoot of the church. At that time they had just a few dozen students and offered grades kindergarten through six.

Today, the school has kicked off another year and will graduate two students next spring, marking the first commencement in its history.

This is a tremendous accomplishment both for the students and for the institution. Everyone involved should be proud because this would not be possible without community support and strong leadership that is built upon the bedrock of faith in God that the school teaches.

For this, we recognize Sugar Creek Christian Academy with this week’s “Good News, Good Neighbors” spotlight.

The accomplishments are many and those will come fully to fruition when Bryce Martin and Savannah Markins walk across the stage as high school graduates.
