GRAYSON, Ky. — Josh Zornes found life on the road to be pretty good.

After several home matches, Zornes played the East Carter home golf course well as he claimed medalist honors.

Zornes shot a 1-under par 35 in a quad match on Tuesday. Zornes had four birdies, three pars, a bogey and a double bogey to record his score.

Elliott County had a 165-team score to win the match. Lewis County shot a 169, East Carter had a 178 and Ironton finished with a 216.

Ironton’s Jordan Thornhill shot a 55, Rhett Ball had a 62 and Travis Taylor added a 64.
