JACKSON — The Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers didn’t get mad, they just got even.

After losing a tough tennis match last week to Jackson, the Lady Tigers gained a measure of revenge Monday with a 4-2 win over the Ironladies.

The win avenges one of two losses this season for the Lady Tigers.

It was another tough game as Ironton won three of their matches in extra sets.

Picking up singles wins were Aleigha Justice and Arial Whitt while getting doubles match wins were the team of Breanna Klaiber and Kara Spencer and the duo of Kylie Barcus and Holly Bruce.

Ironton plays in the Lawrence County Invitational on Tuesday and hosts Portsmouth Notre Dame on Thursday.
