The Veterans Memorial Day 5K Run will start at 8 a.m. Monday beginning at the Liebert Corp. located at 3040 S. Ninth St. in Ironton. Registration is $20 per person and will be from 7-7:45 a.m. the day of the race for those not already registered.

The race is described by www.tristateracer.com as mostly flat with one good hill.

According to the Website, there will be plenty of parking, restrooms, fresh fruit and energy drinks. Door prizes totaling $500 will be given away.

The awards will be handed out at 9 a.m.
