PINE GROVE — The Coal Grove Hornets won a four-team match on Monday at the Ironton Country Club.

Brent Morgan took medalist honors with a 1-under par 34 to lead the Hornets who posted a 178 team score.

The Ironton Fighting Tigers were second with a 199 score followed by the Fairland Dragons at 201 and Rock Hill Redmen at 254.

Brandon Adkins had a 45, Cody Davidson 47 and Tori Holmes a 52 to round out Coal Grove’s top four scores. Justin Mullens added a 55.

Jaylen Thornhill shot a 42 to pace Ironton and finish second overall individually. Corey Rollins shot a 49, Rhett Ball was one shot back at 50 and Travis Taylor and Luke Diamond each carded a 58. Brady Storms added a 64.

Hunter Scheinerark led Fairland with a 44, Hayden James shot a 48, Tyler Blake 53 and Blake Kerstetter and Patrick McCoy each had a 56. Bailey Manns shot a 57.

Logan Barcus and Aden Murnahan each shot a 63 to pace the Redmen. Gavin Boggs and Zach Brown both had a 64 and Logan Boggs finished with a 65.
