St. Mary’s Total Woman program to host free health fair in Ironton

St. Mary’s Total Woman program will host a free health fair for women and men Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Ohio University Southern, 1804 Liberty Ave. in Ironton. The health fair will take place in the Mains Rotunda of the Vern Riffe Center.

Free screenings will include blood glucose, cholesterol, body composition analysis, blood pressure and stroke assessment and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD). Free flu shots will be given to adults 18 and older while supplies last.

Informational displays from St. Mary’s include: Regional Heart Institute, Regional Cancer Center, Regional Joint Replacement Center, The Total Woman, Joslin Diabetes Center, Center for Pelvic Health, Maternity Services, Regional Sleep Center, Regional Stroke Center, Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Lung Nodule Clinic, Home Health Ohio and Ask the Pharmacist.

The event will also include refreshments and door prizes from area businesses.
