FRIENDSHIP — Chandler Dodson is tuning up for his next stop beyond the future Tri-State Junior Golf Tour.
The former Ironton Fighting Tigers’ golfer is tuning up for his college career that begins this fall at the University of Rio Grande by winning the second flight of the 16-18 age division of Tuesday’s Shawnee Golf Course tour stop.
Dodson shot an 87 to beat Jacob Pell by one stroke.
The next tournament will be Monday, July 17, at the Elks Country Club in McDermott.
