D-B Elementary students complete Boot Camp Challenge
COAL GROVE — Twenty-five of 80 Dawson-Bryant Elementary students recently completed a six-week Boot Camp Challenge, in which they took part in various fitness stations that required stamina, strength and agility.
As part of the challenge, the students were also required to keep track of their daily eating habits, trying to eat as healthy as possible.
Dawson-Bryant Elementary physical education teacher Charlie Kitchen said he was very proud of the students who completed the challenge.
“They showed a lot of grit and fortitude,” he said.
As a reward for the students’ efforts and participation, they will be treated to lunch at Texas Roadhouse, as well as given a T-shirt.
