Exhibit to be displayed through Aug. 24
Russell, Kentucky artist Pat B. Shope is currently featured at the Briggs Lawrence County Library Ironton branch.
Shope, who carries degrees from Morehead State University, taught art at Russell High School for 27 years. Her husband, Jim Shope, is also a lifelong artist and retired school teacher.
The couple belongs to the Tri-State Arts Association in Huntington, West Virginia, and share a cottage art studio behind their home.
Shope said she enjoys a variety of artistic medium, with her favorites being mixed media, acrylics and photography.
The exhibit will be on display through Friday, Aug. 24. The Ironton library is located at 321 S. Fourth St.
