On Monday, Ohio University Southern hosted its 16th annual 2019 Bernard L. Edwards Memorial Golf Tournament at the Guyan Golf and Country Club.

Twenty-one regional golf teams took part in the event, with Ashland, Inc. taking first place in net score, followed by the Hall Family team in second in net score and Ashland Business third in net score.

Funds raised by the event go to OUS and its Greatest Needs Fund, which support students, faculty and staff and is used to help in the areas of professional development, travel, supplies, technology and equipment beyond what the university’s budget allows.

We congratulate the winners and commend all who took part in the event.

The money they helped raise will be put to good use and will help to continue to provide quality educational opportunities in our region.
