to hold league elections
The Coal Grove Little League baseball/softball will be holding annual elections at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6, at the fields.
Anyone interested in being on the board must attend this meeting.

Symmes Valley plans
Powder Puff grid game
Symmes Valley High School will hold a girls’ Powder Puff football game on Tuesday, Oct. 22, on the high school football field.
Admission will be $5 per person or a yet to be determined number of donated food items. Proceeds will go toward the student council’s annual Clothe-A-Kid project and the Thanksgiving basket outreach.
The seniors and freshmen will play against the juniors and sophomores with football players serving as coaches.
There may be an extra bonus with male cheerleading squads.

Shawnee St. to host
softball prospects camp
PORTSMOUTH — The softball program at Shawnee State University will be hosting a SSU Prospect Camp from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6, at Portsmouth High School for ages 13-18.
Camp fee is $60 and prospects will go through several stations of workouts that will be set up through the day. Campers who attend will receive a t-shirt.
