SOUTH POINT — The Coal Grove Lady Hornets’ volleyball team remained unbeaten with a tough four-set Ohio Valley Conference win on Tuesday against the South Point Lady Pointers.

Gabbie Carpenter scored 25 points and Bailey Harrison 19 as the Lady Hornets won 25-17, 26-24, 22-25 and 25-23.

Cheyenne Bellomy added 17 points including 6 aces while Haley Johnson had 6 kills, Cami Hillier 15 points and 21 assists and Ashley Adkins added 12 points.

In the reserve game, Coal Grove won 24-26, 25-16 and 25-18.

Kala Landers had 20 points and Shae Willis 14 to pace the Lady Hornets.

Coal Grove (3-0, 2-0) plays at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in a non-league game at Symmes Valley.
