A resurfacing project is under way on State Route 93, between Township Road 623 (Sand Hollow Road) and Township Road 239 (Olive Branch Road).

Throughout construction, traffic will be maintained with the use of flaggers when crews are at work, as well as with temporary traffic signals at three bridge locations. The project is anticipated to be completed by late summer.

A slip repair project has begun on State Route 93, and the route is reduced to one, 9-foot lane at the 14.0-mile marker.

The project site is located between the north and south junctions of State Route 373, north of Pedro, and traffic will be maintained by temporary traffic signals. The project is scheduled to be completed by late July.

State Route 378 is reduced to one lane between the 0.20 and the 0.60-mile markers for two separate slip repair projects.

The project site is located just north of State Route 243 at Getaway, south of County Road 61 (Drift Creek Road). Throughout construction, traffic will be maintained in one lane with the use of temporary signals at each location.

A bench cleaning project is under way on U.S. 52 West. Crews will be clearing the ledge and ditch area alongside the route’s westbound lanes between the State Route 93 interchange at Ironton and Township Road 268 (Crabtree Hollow Road). Currently, crews are working near the Ashland, Ky. Bridge, and westbound traffic impacts should be minimal; eastbound traffic should not be affected by the project.

A slip repair project is under way on U.S. 52, just west of the State Route 93 interchange.

Crews will be working in the area of Township Road 183 (Yellow Branch/Deep Cut Road), and there should be little to no impact to U.S. 52 traffic. All traffic will be maintained on affected routes. The project is anticipated to be completed by late summer.

Construction for the Ironton-Russell Bridge replacement has begun, with preliminary work being conducted off affected roadways.

There should be little to no impact to traffic; however, motorists are advised of equipment entering and exiting the work zone at the U.S. 23 viaduct in Kentucky, as well as in the downtown Ironton area.
