Once the St. Joseph Female Flyers got going, they couldn’t stop.

Leading by six at the end of the first quarter, the Female Flyers erupted in the second quarter for 27 points en route to a 69-23 win over the Ohio Valley Christian Lady Defenders on Thursday.

But Amber Neal scored 10 points and Hannah Miller 9 points in the second quarter as the Female Flyers outscored OVC 27-6 to take a 40-13 halftime cushion.
