Free cancer screening clinic in Ironton Jan. 6

IRONTON — The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Community Health Program is providing breast and cervical cancer screenings and mammograms. The clinic will be 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesday at Central Christian Church at 1541 South Seventh Street in Ironton.

Free Pap tests, breast examinations, mammograms and breast health education will be provided to uninsured and underinsured women.

Appointments are required. Interested persons should call 1-800-844-2654 to schedule an appointment.

The Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Community Health Programs, Breast and Cervical Cancer Projects of Southeast Ohio and Susan G. Komen For The Cure Columbus provide the screening as a community service.
