Two men arrested last year on burglary charges will make appearances on Tuesday in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court.

Chris Destocki, 35, of 1606 Charlotte St., Ironton, and Nathaniel J. Delong, 37, of 206 West View Drive, South Point, were arrested in November after allegedly breaking into the home of a woman in the 900 block of County Road 7A. They were each charged with second-degree burglary.

Destocki is represented by Cincinnati-based attorneys Eric Eckes and Martin Pinales. Delong is represented by attorney Gene Meadows.

Visiting Judge Dale Crawford, of Franklin County, will preside over the case.

In an unrelated case, Charles Shelby, 27, of Keego Harbor, Michigan, rejected his final plea offer and will go to trial on Aug. 6 and 7.

Shelby is charged with first-degree aggravated trafficking in drugs and third-degree tampering with evidence.

The man turned down the offer of six years in prison. He could face a maximum sentence of 14 years in prison if convicted.

Shelby was arrested in March at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites. Members of the sheriff’s office, Lawrence Drug and Major Crimes Task Force and Ironton Police Department made the arrest after finding 171 Oxycodone tablets with a street value of between $7,000 and $8,000, marijuana and $2,651 in cash, according to investigators.
