PORTSMOUTH — Semajah Parter and Faythe Lee combined for 40 points as the Portsmouth Lady Trojans notched their first Ohio Valley Conference with a 63-53 win on Monday over the Coal Grove Lady Hornets.

Parker and Lee scored 20 points each while Jasmine Eley added 11 points in the win.

Emily Compliment scored a game-high 23 points for Coal Grove (1-2, 1-1). Destiny Dolen scored 11 points in the loss.

Coal Grove hosts Fairland on Thursday in a league game.
