You can call Heaven home if born again

While studying the word of God, this thought came upon me to write this about love.

It’s so easy to use the word love. “I love you” has flowed from the lips of many people and many really don’t mean just what is implied. However there is one who truly meant what he did for us.

He left his home in heaven to come to earth and die for our sins, and even the sins of those who abused him so.

Even after they beat him, spit upon him, slapped him, put a crown of thorns upon his head and drove it into his skin with a reed, pulled out his beard (Isaiah 50:6 read) and mocked him. He cried out to his Father in Heaven in Luke 23: 34

Then Jesus said Father forgive them for they know not what they do. And they parted his garments, and cast lots. This is unconditional love that Jesus Christ has shown to each person on planet earth.

So many people forget about what Jesus Christ had done for us and think that because of who they are that they will be welcomed into heaven, however in order to be a member of the precious few that will be going there you must, as Jesus said to Nicodemus in John 3: 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, “Verily, Verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Is it hard to be “born again?” No you must first “hear the gospel,” repent of your sins, and ask Jesus to save your soul, not from the head but from the heart, (the inner man or soul), then believe that he did so by faith in him.

We are told in Romans 6: 23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Our own good works that we do while here outside of Salvation, (being born again) in God’s eyes as it says in Isaiah 64:6 “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our richesnessess are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our inequities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

Neither you nor I or anyone else will make it to heaven without the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ being applied to our souls, this has happened to myself, how about you?

Can you say that you have the assurance of a home in heaven?

You can if you have been born again by his blood, as it says in Revelation 1:5: “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.” So trust him and ask for his marvelous gift today, before it’s too late.
