College teams to get underway

Welp, high school football returned last week and the colleges hit the field this week.
I sees the supposedly big game this week is Michigan at Notre Dame. With Jim Harbaugh as their coach, Michigan fans have a whole different reason fer waiving hand towels. They soaks up the tears faster so Harbaugh doesn’t splash around on the sidelines after every call.
Since it’s a road game, Harbaugh said he’s only gonna dress half the players on the roster. He said the other half will just have to dress themselves.
I heard one of the Michigan players say it’s not that easy gittin’ cheerleaders into their dorm rooms. You have to grease their hips and push real hard.
I guess I should be more transparent. I don’t like Michigan. But I’s probably the only one.
Ennywhoo, last week I wuz 14-3 which are good fer a first week. But there are still a bunch of unknown teams so this week ain’t gonna be easy.
Ironton at Russell: The Red Devils are quick at fast. Problem is, they ain’t fast enough nor quick enough. Ironton 42, Russell 7.
Coal Grove at Lucasville Valley: The Hornets is likin’ them teams down in the valley. Coal Grove 35, Valley 20.
Rock Hill at Northwest: If the Redmen git rid of them fumbles and penalties, they could make some noise this season. They should be pretty loud this week. Rock Hill 42, Northwest 18.
Chesapeake at Alexander: I wuz surprised the Panthers lost last week. If Austin Browning ain’t hurt, no surprise this week. Chesapeake 34, Alexander 17.
Athens at Fairland: This will be the toughest game to pick. Bulldogs have 17 lettermen and 19 seniors. Dragons are young but they do have Joel Lambiotte. Athens 35, Fairland 27.
South Point at Boyd County: The Pointers give new head coach James Gifford his first win as their head coach. South Point 20, Boyd County 14.
Portsmouth West at Portsmouth: The Senators just want to slow Talyn Parker down enough to git their offense on the field. West 28, Portsmouth 21.
River Valley at Gallipolis: The Blue Devils have a high-scoring offense. The Raiders give up a lot of points. Not very good news for the Raiders. Gallipolis 48, River Valley 7.
OTHERS: Bishop Hartley over Wheelersburg; George Washington over Ashland; Beaver Eastern over Northeastern; Minford over Oak Hill; Ports. Notre Dame over Millersport; Waverly over Zane Trace.
