An Ironton man has been indicted by the Lawrence County Grand Jury for the rape of three children.

Dale Kelley, 67, was indicted on Sept. 25 on three charges of first-degree felony rape and one count of third-degree felony tampering with evidence.

According to the indictment, two of the cases happened on or about January 1994 and continued through December 1994. The two victims were under the age of 16 and in foster care.

The third case involved sexual conduct with a victim under the age of 13 in May 2018. There is no indication in the indictment how Kelley knew victim.

Kelley was arrested Thursday and is in the Lawrence County Jail.
