Polcyn named distinguished student ambassador

BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green State University College of Business has announced that Marikate Polcyn, a 2018 graduate of Fairland High School, has been named to the highly selective Student Ambassador Program.

“We are pleased to accept Marikate into the Student Ambassador Program,” BGSU College of Business dean Ray Braun said. Student Ambassadors represent the College of Business by engaging with prospective students, current students, and alumni. In preparation for their role, student ambassadors complete a course focused on presentation and networking skills.

Polcyn has been a highly-engaged student in the College of Business.

She is involved in Honors Ambassadors, Peer Leaders, Delta Sigma Pi and working as a tour guide.

“I am thrilled to be accepted into the Student Ambassador Program,” Polcyn said. “The College of Business is amazing, and I look forward to working with Dean Ray Braun as a student ambassador.”

During high school, she was involved in Mu Alpha Theta, Prom Committee, French Club, Yearbook staff, varsity volleyball, National Beta Club, 4H, Junior Fairboard and CARteens.

The College of Business is among the top one percent of business programs in the world.
