Timothy Edwards

Timothy E. Edwards, 51, of Ashland, Ky., passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at his residence. Timothy was born Oct. 14, 1962, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of Phyllis Huff Edwards and the late Earl Emerson Edwards. He was a maintenance worker at McSweeney’s Mine and Mill in South Point.

In addition to his father, his sister, Lora Sullivan; niece, Jessica Irby; and stepdaughter, Jessica Cohn, preceded him in death. Timothy is survived by his mother, Phyllis Huff Edwards; daughter, Megan (Shane) Craig; son, Tyler Edwards; his finaceé, Brenda Malone; stepdaughters, Ariel Cohn and Shianne Roberts; step-granddaughters, Aubrey Porter and Arianne Cohn; sisters, Sheila (Greg) Huff, Shelly (Billy) Rogers and Lola (Steve) Roberts; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home in Chesapeake with pastor Steve Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Getaway Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.schneidergriffin.com.
