Dragons get easy win over Symmes Valley

The Dragons downed the Symmes Valley Vikings 13-1 in five innings on Thursday in a no-league game.
Fairland (8-3) had 10 hits with Kyle Rankin going 2-5 with a double and three runs batted in and Bryan Defoe was 2-3 with two RBI to lead the offense that saw eight different players get hits.
Collin Pemberton was 1-4 with a home run for Fairland which has now won eight straight.
The Dragons used five different pitchers with starter Garrett Looney going two innings for the win. He struck out two, walked none and did not give up a hit.
Devin Renfroe was 1-2 and Levi Niece 1-3 to account for the Vikings’ only hits.
