KITTS HILL — The South Hills Longbeards chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) is hosting its annual Jakes Youth Turkey Hunt on Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21 at Mamre Baptist Church in Kitts Hill.

The event is for youth hunters of all skill levels and their parents, and first-time hunters are encouraged to attend.

“This is an opportunity for kids to get away from the TV for a day and discover how exciting the outdoors can be,” Bill Mullins, NWTF member, said. “It’s also a great time for kids to connect with their parents or grandparents by doing hands-on activities they both enjoy.”
