PORTSMOUTH — The Ironton Fighting Tigers’ tennis team lost their second road trip in as many tries as they fell to the Portsmouth Trojans 4-1 on Tuesday.
No. 3 singles player Ali White remained unbeaten as she picked up the only Ironton win.
No. 1 singles player Aiden White and No. 2 man Jaxson Pleasant both lost.
Ironton’s No. 1 team of Elena Wilson and Sierra Vallance and No. 2 team Todd Davidson and Ethan Bennett both lost close matches.
Ironton hosts Portsmouth West at 4:30 p.m. next Tuesday.
